Everyday Thankfulness

It’s Thanksgiving week! Did it sneak up on you this year like it did us?

I feel like just yesterday it was February, & I was tearing up over the fact that my youngest son turned 10! The realization that all the boys are now in double digits kind of hit me hard this year!

So anyways, back to Thanksgiving…

I see everyone sharing posts of their “Daily Thankfulness”. To be honest, that is a lot of work! Don’t get me wrong, I have A LOT to be thankful for, but remembering to share it is another thing!

So how do we do it in our home?

We do it after we say our prayers at dinner. (That’s right, we are still part of the generation that have nightly dinners at our table and say grace, even if dinner was delivered in a box by the pizza delivery person.) I love sitting around the table looking at their sweet little faces and hearing them share what they are thankful for.

So in the spirit of being thankful, I’d like to share my “Everyday Thankfulness” :

Today and everyday, I am thankful for my family, friends, and of course my followers! Each day brings many hours to fulfill my dreams and serve our God. I am thankful for my health, the love I have, and the compassion that surrounds me in my everyday life. I am thankful for a job that allows me the flexibility to raise my boys & provide for our needs, and sometimes a little more. Life has had its ups and downs for us and I am thankful that we have finally found our happy place. We may not have a typical story book life, but for me, this is our story book and I am so thankful to live it!

I pray that each of you have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving this year! God Bless!
